What options are there for streaming an event?

We specialise in three options for streaming – Zoom production, virtual events or conferences, or hybrid events.

1. Zoom Production

Our role would be to help make sure that the Zoom event is streamed reliably and professionally - but also to build on a normal Zoom meeting or debate with extra elements, such as live and pre-recorded videos, informative graphics, and interactive features.

We handle the streaming or events from our technical hub in north London, using, if necessary, a sophisticated vMix system to co-ordinate the input of live speakers and panellists, and then playing into the event a variety of media-rich content.

2. Virtual Events and Conferences

We can produce and stream any kind of virtual or online event - using a mixture of web cameras, location cameras, pre-recorded videos, and graphics.

For virtual conferences, we use a specialist virtual conference platform. The platform replicates online all the features of a real, person-to-person location conference – such as registration, an agenda, different streams, break out rooms, polling, networking, and exhibitors.

3. Hybrid Location Events

Hybrid events involve setting up a location-based event, with some or many of the attendees joining online.

There can be many types of hybrid event – but at their core is the idea that you can have a moderator, key speakers, panellists and a number of attendees at a branded client location (such as the organisation’s HQ), while a proportion of speakers and attendees join the event online, but are still able to interact via a range of participation tools.

Technology

  • We use high-end streaming, video and virtual event software and equipment

  • Our technical approach involves vMix and Blackmagic mixers, Behringer audio systems, LiveU 200DXB internet back-up, the Wowza Video Player system, and PTZ, Sony PXW HD and 4K cameras.

Production

  • We know how important it is to make online and virtual events interesting and distinctive – and we have the skills to add video content and custom-made graphics to the output.

  • For editing video and graphic inserts, we use Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Premiere After Effects.

How much will it cost to stream an event or conference?

The cost depends on a variety of factors including what platforms are selected and , if it’s a hybrid event, how many cameras are needed.

But we specialise in low cost/high quality streaming, and our prices start at £1,250 for a one-off event.

What do you mean by Zoom Production for meetings or webinars?

Most of us are familiar with organising small, team-based Zoom meetings.

But the reality is that many organisations struggle to run larger or more complex Zoom events in a reliable and professional way, especially if it has a lot of speakers, and/or includes videos and graphics.

We help organisations plan the event, and then help host and stream it. We also organise rehearsals, playing in videos and other content, and mixing between the speakers.

How do virtual or online conferences work?

We use virtual conference platforms, that allow us to replicate online all the features that you would expect at a location-based, person-to-person conference.

This includes registration, agendas, streams, key note speakers, Q&As, polls, break out rooms, exhibitors, and attendee networking.

The online platforms we use work on all devices - PCs and Macs, laptops and tablets, and mobiles.

How does a Hybrid event or conference work?

The idea is that a moderator, key speakers and panellists, and attendees are filmed live at a location, and then some of the speakers and attendees join the event virtually.

It means that people can attend the event from their workplace or homes - in the UK, or from anywhere in the world.

Hybrid events combine the best of both worlds - attendees and delegates can choose whether to join an event in person or virutally.

What kind of quality and standards can we expect?

We are really committed to delivering high quality streaming.

Our technical staff are experienced, and we have all the necessary equipment, such as cameras, sound, lighting, mixers, encoding, and streaming equipment.

We draw up a bespoke Production Plan for bookings, and we work closely with clients to ensure that the event is organised in a professional manner with high production standards.
